Problems with NQ Servers

I have problem with NQ Servers When i am connecting, website of this server is opening and closing ET. I ask ricky, but he haven't that problem. In other i have 1 KB/s (!!!) transfer. It is something with my internet or with servers?

What server are you trying to connect to? Post ip and I will try and connect to server.

There might be a problem with the map rotation on that server.

There are three ways of offering pk3-downloads on a server.
1. The standard way: This means, that the et-server itself will provide the pk3 file. It is then wrapped inside the et-communication protocol. To ensure, the downloads will not harm the server performance, they are usually limited to 4-5 kByte/sec. This is although the fallback option.
2. The direct redirected Download: The server knows a direct link to each pk3 file, based on http or ftp. At connection time this link is returned to the client, and the client will start an ingame download of these files. That's the way we handle it on Tjade.
3. The indirect redirected download: The server only knows a web-page where the files should be located. If you connect to this server and are missing a file, et shuts down and a browser pops up, targeting this download site. But you have to look for the files there by yourself. There is although no guarantee, that you will find the files you really need :-(.
Though if you want to connect to one of these servers, you should gather together all required files first.

Thank you very much for replays. This server is Atta way baby-ip. : 86.110.94.14:35100 . I'll have a rpoblem with this mods, skincpacks etc. but i maybe do it

I have another problem. When i am connecting to the server NQ called gry.isko. it is started to downloading pk3. file called noquarter/ isko_sound_pack. I have 2 kB transfer. But soem minutes later i have something like this:

just click Reconnect. This error appear sometimes to me too. Im clicking Reconnect and it work then.

i can connect to the server with no problems. i have 200kb/s. i download all files and than im in game
